A new California law, SB 1383, requires every jurisdiction in the state to compost their organic materials -- and that includes schools! Learn about how to incorporate composting into your curriculum to engage students with the recycling of their organic waste and the building of healthy communities. Composting is a great science topic for all ages, from worm anatomy and care to climate action and soil health.
